(This is the second lesson in a series on "Self-Control").  The world emphasizes self-assertiveness, self-love, and downright selfishness.  But Jesus said, "If any one wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself..." Matthew 16:24.  If we are ever to master any meaningful level of Self-Control, we must develop the ability to simply say "No" to self.  This lesson explores what Jesus said is included in this vital area of spiritual growth and development.
