Adorning the Doctrine of God

When the term "sound" is used by a Christian, it is usually used in the context of the integrity of how a congregation is applying the doctrine of God. However, when looking at Titus Chapter 2, we see that the context is how individuals are adorning the gospel of God. Are we, as Christians, putting on the gospel so that others may see our good deeds, and wanting to live the lives that we live?
