How Do I Love God? (How Do I Know I Love God?)

This morning we read and studied 1 John 4:7 - 5:5 and learned that there is a lot to be said about God's love for us and how we show our love back to God. Is love an emotion? And is it one that we cannot control? This passage tells us that love is something that we must work at and learn.

How do we learn to love God, by knowing that: 

1. we love because God first loved us,

2. we need to comprehend the consistency of God's love,

3. we love because God's love is perfected in us,

4. we love because God's love for us is deep.
