It is true that Satan, the Father of Lies, can deceive us about sin. But have you stopped to think that we too can deceive ourselves when we rationalize our own sin? From lies like "It's not that bad! I didn't kill anyone!" to progressive lies like "Even though I continue to sin, God still loves me, accepts me, and will forgive me", we can often lie to ourselves about sin and furture damage our relationship with God and with others.
