Confidence or Shame in Our Christian Lives

When it comes to evaluating our own Christian lives, can we look at different areas and be confident in what we are doing? Or be ashamed to the point where we realize we need to improve? Such areas include: our diligence in handling the truth, our efforts to submit our will to God's in our every-day choices, our efforts to love as God loves, our efforts to encourage others within the church, our efforts to endure until the end, and our efforts to share the word of God with others.
