The Duties of the Elder

There are three Greek words to describe the role of the Elder within the church. An examination of the scriptures will show us the duties which a church Elder is to perform: his obvious duties, his personal duties, duties to oversee, to teach, to minister, to shepherd the flock, and to be an example.
