What It Means To Accept Jesus

We know that to be pleasing to God, we must accept Jesus, His son. Along with accepting Jesus, we must also realize (through an examination of the scriptures) that Jesus does not accept us as we are, as sinful people, but that He expects us to change. We must accept Jesus' words to us, and the words of those who spoke by the authority given to them. Rejecting the words of Jesus is a rejection of God, the Father, and of eternal life.
