God's Word and The Future of The Church

What will affect the future of the church more than anything else? The inability of the church to see the relevence of God's word in its future. Why does this happen? Because of its members' unwillingness to read and believe it, and to abide in and apply it. Dangers arise when we aren't willing to read it for ourselves and trust others (possibly with their own agendas) to interpret it for us, when we read it to seach for "spiritual loopholes", and when we aren't searching for the truth in it. The solution includes reading and studying an accurate translation of the bible, to read entire sentences regardless of verse numbers and entire books without regard to chapter numbers, and to always consider local and universal context of the passages we read.
