Motivations For Belief

Why do we believe what we believe? We either objectively look at evidences presented to us, or we subjectively look at those evidences and let our current beliefs and desires distort or ignore this evidence. When it comes to believing God's word, there are several subjective obstacles in the way of our believing the truth. If what we believe isn't in line with what God has given to us through His word, we need to objectively examine the evidence.
