Encouragement and Encouraging

Biblically speaking, encouragement isn't simply making someone feel better. In the scriptures it means something more literally - to fill one another with courage in difficult situations. What situations would a fellow Christians need to be filled with courage? And how often do fellow Christians need this encouragement? Let's look at the example of Barnabas in what he can teach us about encouraging one another.
