Luke 23:39-43 tells a very beautiful story about a man who was a criminal, saw the error in his ways, took personal responsibility, and recognized the innosense of Jesus. And Jesus forgave him of his sins. But is this story a template and an example of how we can be saved today? Let's examine the scriptures to see how we are saved and illustrate why this story does not serve as an example of how we are saved today.
