This study was originally prepared for and delivered to a Men's One-Day study group consisting of mostly regional preachers, elders, deacons, and Christian men.  Since it was a "One-Day" event, the material was targeted to that group and under those presentation time limitations.  I (Philip C. Strong) claim no particular expertise on this subject, nor do I have any particular insights gained from personal experience.  This was simply an important issue facing Christians and congregations of them at the time, and since.  The material is offered here only in hopes of helping us to better understand the topic, and to more constructively deal with the challenges it presents- all, of course, from the persepctive of God's inspired Word.
